We offer a wide spectrum of support and consultancy services to organisations and students operating in the target region of West and Central African savanna with the aim to enhance antelope conservation and promote ecosystem functions.

We acknowledge the crucial role of local communities in wildlife conservation and work on developing the tools how to effectively involve local communities in the wildlife conservation. We implement the techniques related to barrier analysis and social behavioural change to achieve the conservation goals. Interested to know more about this? 

STUDENT PROJECT SUPPORT

For students aiming to realize their projects in Western and Central Africa

Are you a student on master or PhD level? Do you aim to realize your project in West and Central African savannah? Submit your student project to our consideration for support. If you are not there yet, you can apply for studies at our Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences.

LOCAL PROJECT SUPPORT

For local organisations from Western and Central Africa

Are you a member of a local organisation based in West and Central African savannah? And are you interested in antelope conservation? Propose us a project we can cooperate on in the frame of our expertise. We may provide scientific, technical, material and financial support, according to the needs of the project, to reach a common conservation goal.

We support organisations operating in West and Central African savannah and help them building capacities in the antelope conservation within the borders of our expertise. We may provide our expertise free of charge while it is in line of our common goals and we charge only the costs related to the specific tasks assigned by the organisation (travel costs, accommodation, data analyses, printing services, etc. - all depends on the project needs)

If our expertise fits to your expectations, please check the eligibility criteria:

  • is your organisation operating in at least one of the range states: Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Central African Republic, South Sudan?
  • are you an international NGO or a governmental structure operating within the target country?
  • does the scope of your organisation involve biodiversity conservation or specifically antelope conservation?
  • would you like to learn about antelopes and their conservation?
  • would you like to build a local organisation to help antelope conservation?
